KARACHI: The Met Office on Tuesday forecast that mainly dry weather was expected to remain countrywide in the next 24 hours, except Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas where isolated rain may fall.

The forecast says shallow westerly wave was still lying over the northern areas of the country and is likely to move further eastward, adding that there was no severe weathering warning in the next 48 hours.

It pointed out that weather is likely to remain dry in the most parts of the country in the next 48 hours and says that weather in the most parts of the country remained dry in the last 24 hours.

The Met Office recorded no rain in the last 24 hours, saying that the highest temperature was recorded in Dalbadin as 40 degree centigrade.

The Karachi’s weather is expected to remain dray with maximum temperature ranging between 32 degree centigrade and 34 degree centigrade in the next 24 hours, the Met Office forecasts.
