agriculture 400ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched forty-nine projects including across the province for uplift of the agriculture sector.

 

According to radio Pakistan quoting official sources, two billion rupees have been allocated under the Annual Development Programme of the current fiscal year for development of agriculture sector.

 

Similarly, 550 tube-wells and were installed in the province during the past five years to bring five thousand kanals barren land under cultivation in different areas of the province.

 

The sources added that five thousand date-trees would also be planted in Southern districts of the province including Lakki Marwat, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan.
