KARACHI: Felicitating Christian community residing in Pakistan and elsewhere in the world, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that Jesus Christ had taught the lesson of humanity, love, brotherhood and peace.
In a felicitation message issued on the eve of Christmas, Altaf Hussain appealed to the Christian community to offer special prayers during their worships for the solidarity and survival of the country.
He said that since no religion in the world gave the message of hatred, it was imperative upon all of us to promote religious harmony by respecting each othe'rs faith and places of worship from their core of heart as it was the real essence of the humanity.
The MQM chief congratulated pastors, bishops and the entire Christian community and appealed to them to offer special prayers on the occasion for the restoration of peace, solidarity and survival of the country as well as for an end to acts of terrorism.
