ISLAMABAD: Chairperson National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Marvi Memon Friday said by winning the Nobel Prize of Peace, Malala had proved that in peace and terrorism, the former always emerged victorious.
Talking to a private TV channel, Marvi termed the winning of the award a historic moment saying that Malala was the daughter of the soil and the nation was proud of her.
She said Malala had given a message that consistency and persistency in a cause make it a success.
She also paid rich tributes to Pakistan Army personnel who had laid down their lives in the war against terrorism.
The PML-N leader further said after the 18th amendment in the constitution, education was devolved to the provinces and now it was upto a province to become a role model for other provinces.
