ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said Government attaches great importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia as both the countries enjoy strong brotherly relations and cooperation in diverse fields.
Talking to Saudi Ambassador Jasim Al Khaldi, who called on him at his office here on Wednesday and discussed arrangements of Haj 2015.
The minister said government is doing its best to provide all possible facilities like last year to pilgrims and thanked to the Saudi government for accommodating and facilitating the pilgrims. The status of development projects launched by Saudi Arabia in Mansehra district during earthquake 2005.
Were also discussed in detail as 15 rural health units at village level have been completed so for while Malik Abdullah Teaching Hospital in the city is near to completion.
The minister demanded to increase the number of counters of airlines at Madina Airport as fifty percent of Pakistani pilgrims will land at and depart from Madina this year, to avoid any delay to clear the pilgrims.
The ambassador ensured all possible cooperation to facilitate the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia and extension of number of airlines counters at Madina.
