FAISALABAD: As many as 5,360 bio-gas plants have been installed in 12 districts of Punjab during the last six years under Pakistan Domestic Bio Gas Programme (PDBGP) which will benefit 42,880 people.
Programme Officer of Nederlands Embassy Saood Aziz Khuram while addressing a ceremony here said women, elders, farmers and children of rural areas would feel easy as bio-gas was a good alternate source of wood, coal and Kerosene oil of getting fire in their stoves.
He said the objective of the programme was establishing market based bio-gas sector in the country.
