LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif taking notice of violence on the protesters and a woman by entering into her house in Faisalabad has sought report from Inspector General Police (IGP), Punjab.
He directed IGP to take stern action against those involved in violation of the sanctity of "Chadar and Chardiwari". He said that such act could not be allowed in any civilized society.
The Chief Minister also directed Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah to reach Faisalabad without any delay. He also directed IG Police to submit to him a report after completing investigation of the incident within 48 hours.
