ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)'s Secretary, Ishtiaque Ahmad Khan Wednesday said that the ECP was ready for holding of general elections-2013.
ECP secretary said that there were some legal snags in the scrutiny of nomination papers and added that law making was parliament's job, not ours, a private news channel reported.
Talking to media, Ishtiaque Ahmad Khan said that the implementation of Articles 62, 63 of the constitution would be ensured. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor has assured help in this regard, he said.
The FBR Chairman on this occasion said that ECP would be provided all required documents and assistance.
