ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the hike in petroleum prices and announced to protest inside and outside the parliament against the issue.
Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that increase in petroleum products is additional burden on the poverty struck masses who were already struggling for existence.
He said that surge in patrol prices would ultimately result in hike in prices of basic commodities and in the ongoing scenario, masses are not in a position to afford it.
The chairman PTI termed the federal government’s decision of increasing petroleum products as shameful and ruining the masses mandate.
Khan said that PTI would not accept the anti-masses decision at any cost and will protest inside and outside the Parliament for withdrawal or review of increase in petroleum products.
