HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares rose 1.71 percent on Wednesday, following a regional upward trend after recent losses around the world.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 337.50 points to end at 20,048.00 on turnover of HK$65.42 billion ($8.39 billion).
