Livestock owners advised to get cattle vaccinated before selling them in Karachi

KARACHI: In view of outbreak of different diseases among the livestock across Sindh province especially in flood-affected districts, the animal husbandry department of City District Government Karachi has advised the cattle owners to get the animals vaccinated at least 15-days before transporting them to Karachi for sale on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The department said the vaccination is must to prevent mouth and paw diseases among the livestock.
Moreover, the cattle should be given medicines for preventing stomach diseases at least a month earlier and the green grass should be used as the fodder.
