KARACHI: The Pakistan women’s cricket team qualified for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier semi-final when they defeated Japan by 246 runs on Sunday.
Pakistan opted to bat first and put a total of 273 runs on the scoreboard.
In reply, Japan only manage to score 26 in 28 overs.
Pakistan’s Sadia Yousuf clinched six wickets conceding just two runs.
Pakistan is placed in Group 'B' with hosts Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland and Japan.
