KARACHI: All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders and Cottage Industry is holding a protest demonstration against the closure of two-day weekly CNG supply today (Wednesday).

According to spokesman for the organization, the small traders would stage a protest demonstration to condemn the government’s anti-trade policies on Wednesday. He said the CNG supply closure twice a week would cripple business and production activities in the country.

He said traders had also reservations over the inclusion of form ‘D’ in the tax return form, which would open doors for bribe in the tax offices. He said the organization had already shown strong resentment against the government policies and would continue in the future if such policies did not change. The demonstration would be held at Tariq Road market.
