firdouse_ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said that appearance of the Prime Minister in the Supreme Court manifest that government believes in supremacy of the constitution and rule of law.

Talking to journalists in the parliament, she said that the government will follow constitutional parameters and hopes that all institutions will remain in their respective domains.

Replying to a question regarding political implications of indictment of Prime Minister, she said Pakistan Peoples Party believes in the supremacy of the parliament and its legal team was looking in the issue.

She said that political stability and continuation of democratic system was necessary to pull the country out of difficult times.

The minister said PPP and allied parties would get majority seats in Senate scheduled election next month.
