KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 16938.63 with a positive change of 11.29 and volume of 28,374,710 shares.

High and Low were 16957.81 and 16914.83 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 69,360,310 shares with 272 total traded companies out of which 145 were up, 107 were down and 20 were unchanged.

Oil and Gas was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,977,400 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 10,166,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 14,486,000 and price per share of 13.19 (0.93), P.I.A.C.(A) with a volume 7,542,500 of price per share of 4.11 (0.12) and Fauji Cement with a volume of 6,393,500 and price per share of 6.55 (0.18).

The top three Tri-Pack Films with price per share of 202.99 (6.01), Biafo Industries with price per share of 92.45 (4.36) and AKD Capital Limited with price share of 60.48 (2.88).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 1330.00 (-30.00), Sanofi-Aventis Pak with price per share of 375.00 (-13.57) and Premier Suger Mills with price per share of 87.00 (-4.50).
