KIEV: Ukraine's Farm Ministry on Friday raised its forecast for the 2011 harvest to 54 million tonnes from the previous estimate of 53 million tonnes.
The ministry said in a report it had forecast a supply of 60 million tonnes of grain in the 2011-12 seasons and that 27 million tonnes of the total volume could be exported.
The ministry said the exports would include 11 million tonnes of wheat, 13 million of maize and 3.1 million of barley.
