BRUSSELS: Acting Spanish Premier Mariano Rajoy on Wednesday said Madrid would oppose any separate talks with Scotland on its future in the EU after Britain voted to leave the bloc.
"The Spanish government is opposed to any negotiations with anyone else but the British government. The United Kingdom leaves and with it, all those who make up the United Kingdom," Rajoy said after the remaining European Union 27 leaders met in Brussels to discuss the Brexit vote.
