RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistan Army pilots embraced martyrdom after a Mushshak training aircraft crashed due to a technical fault near Nawan Killi in Quetta, Balochistan, on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the military’s media wing, the incident occurred around midday on October 12, 2026, when the Pakistan Army Aviation training aircraft developed a technical fault during flight and crashed.

The two pilots were identified as Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun, an instructor pilot, and Captain Abdul Samad, a student pilot. Both lost their lives in the unfortunate incident, the ISPR said.
