A heavy contingent of police and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials have gathered outside Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif's residence in Lahore.

The Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly once again failed to appear before the bureau today in a case pertaining to assets case and money laundering case. Shehbaz had excused himself from appearing a third time, citing health concerns.

In his statement the PML-N president said that coronavirus cases were rising and he is a cancer survivor and 69 years old. He further said that it was reported that several members of the accountability watchdog have also tested positive.

He said he is available to answer NAB's questions via Skype.
