Yemen donor summit raises about half of required $2.4 billion: UN

RIYADH: International donors Tuesday pledged $1.35 billion in humanitarian aid to Yemen, ravaged by war and coronavirus, the United Nations said, around half the required $2.41 billion.

"A total of $1.35 billion in pledges has been announced from a wide range of donors to the humanitarian response in Yemen including to fight COVID-19," a UN spokeswoman told reporters.
