123 passengers from Saudi Arabia have tested positive for coronavirus: Murtaza Wahab

  • He said now the government will have to trace the passengers and isolate them.

Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Murtaza Wahab announced on Thursday that 123 passengers who returned from Saudi Arabia to Karachi have tested positive for coronavirus.

In a tweet, the senator said 246 people landed in Karachi from Saudi Arabia out of which 123 have tested positive. He said while the Federal Government wanted the flights to open allow people in without tests, Sindh government conducted tests of the passengers.

"Sindh government took tests of the passengers and will now have to trace the passengers and isolate them," Wahab said.
