Pakistan cricket team is all set to depart for England in July for three-match Test and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) series, let’s have a quick view at the probable squad of the Men-in-Green.
The six games will be played in span of August and early September at two to three venues in England. The team will reach England at least three weeks prior to the start of the series, where they will be quarantined for 14 days.
With two months remaining in the star of the tour, Pakistan team’s head coach and chief selector Misbah ul Haq is expected to announce the 28-member squad in a couple of days.
The 46-year-old already hinted at the return of former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed for England tour, while a few interesting names including rookie Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Khushdil Shah are in the mix as well.
A few players, who missed out on central contract, Mohammad Amir, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez and Fawad Alam are also strong contenders to depart for England via chartered flight.
There is a health conversation going on among the top officials to select any two between Faheem Ashraf, Bilal Asif, Kashif Bhatti and Amir Yamin.
