The Railways Ministry announced on Monday that Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The ministry issued a statement and said the minister tested positive for Covid-19 but he's asymptomatic, local media reported.

The minister has gone into self-isolation and will remain in quarantine for two weeks as per doctors' advice, the statement said.
