ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider on Tuesday said India has disconnected the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) from the rest of the world to continue genocide of innocent people of Kashmir.
He criticised the silence of international community over the growing Indian forces' atrocities in the occupied territory saying the deteriorating human rights situation should be an eye-opener for the world, in a statement issued here.
The AJK PM paid tribute to the nine Kashmiri youth who were martyred by the Indian forces in last 24 hours, adding that India has announced a war against the unarmed Kashmiris.
"Indian forces have crossed all limits of brutalities and even the innocent children are not safe from their barbarism. Humanity is ashamed after witnessing their cruelties", he said.
Haider said he feared that if world did not take notice and intervened to halt the Indian aggressive actions against innocent Kashmiris, a great human tragedy could unleash in the backdrop of catastrophic situation in the occupied valley.
India is torturing the Kashmiris while falsely holding them responsible for the spread of coronavirus in the occupied territory and New Delhi wants to change the proportion of population by issuing domiciles to non-Kashmiris, the AJK PM said.
He urged the international community to play a role in preventing Indian oppression in occupied Kashmir.
