LETTER: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stepped up criticism of the federal government, accusing it of fuelling coronavirus spread in the country. The federal government, which has said little or nothing in order to counter PPP leader's accusations so far, needs to come clean; it must be completely honest; keep nothing hidden insofar as its strategy in relation to the Covid-19 challenge is concerned. By June 9, the number of confirmed cases had soared to 110,065 with Sindh and Punjab both crossing the 40,000-case mark.
The apex court of the country has underscored the need for a national strategy and uniform legislation to deal with the deadly virus. The question however, is: Do we really have any strategy per se?
