Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Friday that the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) was providing 73 beds for intensive care units (ICU) and 428 for high dependency units (HUDs) to the province.
During a meeting of the provincial health department, the CM approved the provision of medicines and medical equipment for HUDs in field isolation centre.
The chief minister said that the beds provided by NDMA would be distributed among different hospitals. He said Sindh Government Hospital Karachi will be provided 10 beds for ICU and 65 for HUD.
