Sindh Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab announced on Friday that in the last 24 hours the province reported 2,428 new coronavirus cases.

In a tweet, Wahab said 11,000 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. So far, Sindh has tested 277,054 people out of which 49,256 have tested positive.

Wahab further said that 17 more people have died due to coronavirus. The provincial death toll has jumped to 793.
