Strict security in city after Quetta, Swat blasts

According to police, strict security measures have been taken to avert any untoward incident in the city, especially for Friday prayers. Roads leading towards cantonment areas were sealed and entry was only allowed after through checking of persons and vehicles.

 

Saddar Road was also blocked for two-way traffic and additional squads of police were deployed to maintain peace. Likewise additional police were deployed at main mosques of interior city and cantonment areas and entry of faithful to mosques were allowed only after strict body search.
