Malik said that the federal government was working in coordination with the provinces for the improvement of security situation in the country. The efforts would continue till the elimination of terrorism in the country, Malik said.

Both the leaders welcomed the dialogue offer of Taliban and said if they (Taliban) are serious, they should lay down their weapons and announce the names of their leaders for holding dialogue with the government.

Deputy Speaker thanked the Interior Minister for providing foolproof security arrangements during the conference of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
