In a statement issued by the MQM here on Thursday, Altaf said the anti-state elements are targetting the innocent people and personnel of law enforcement agencies to destabilise the country.

The MQM chief sympathised with the families of the victims and prayed for recovery of the injured.

He called upon the government to take notice of the incident and take strict action against the culprits.
