The new price would be effective from Thursday February 21.
This was stated by the chairman of LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokhar who further said that LPG prices are expected to be reduced even more within the next few days, a private news channel reported.
LPG would be available at 40-50 per cent lower price than that of petrol and diesel, he added.
The new LPG price in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Murree would be Rs 130 a kilo while the residential cylinder would be available at Rs 1,510.
After the price reduction effective from Thursday, the new price of the LPG in Karachi and Hyderabad would be Rs 115 per kilo while the price of residential cylinder would be Rs 1,330.
In Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhawalpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal the new price would be Rs 120 a kilo while the price of residential cylinder would be Rs 1,390.
Meanwhile, the new LPG price in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Sargogha, Jhelum and GUjrat would be Rs 125 a kilo while residential cylinder would cost Rs 1,450.
The new LPG price in Gilgit, FATA, Azad Jammu & Kashmir would be Rs 135 a kilo while residential cylinder would be available at Rs 1,570.
