This was directed by a five-judge larger bench headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali who resumed the hearing of the appeal.
During the course of proceeding, the bench sought complete record of orders passed by the three-judge bench of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the contempt of court against him for replacing the investigating team which was probing Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) corruption case in 2009.
The bench questioned that who was responsible for replacing the investigation team headed by Tariq Khosa.
Latif Khosa, counsel for the former interior minister, replied that Tariq Khosa `s transfer has nothing to do with the contempt of court matter.
He further contended that the then Prime Minister ordered for the transfer of Tariq Khosa in the matter adding that the Interior Ministry has nothing to do with such transfers.
Later, the court adjourned further hearing till April, 2.
