President seeks report of burning a boy to death

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday expressed his shock and deep concern over the reported burning to death of a teenaged boy in Ghotki and sought report of the barbaric incident within 24 hours.

The boy was reportedly burnt alive by spraying petrol and he succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.

Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President also directed that the culprits be arrested immediately and brought to justice.

The harrowing incident is a slap on the collective conscience of the society, the President said.
