He expressed these views while talking to a four-member delegation of Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry at the Central Police Office here.
The delegation requested the IGP for the availability of Mobile Learner Driving Licenses facility at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry for one day. The IGP Punjab said that the department would seriously consider their request.
The delegation also expressed their reservations about some innocent people nominated in the Josef Colony incident.
The IGP said the investigation into that incident was being carried out purely on merit and no innocent person would be taken to task. The delegation assured the IGP full cooperation of the business community in this matter.
The delegation was comprised Vice President Mian Abuzar Shad, General Secretary Anjuman-e-Tajiran Haji Tahir Naveed, President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran Misri Shah Lahore Chaudhry Shahid Hussain, and President Loha Market Misri Shah Lahore Fayyaz Hussain. DIG (Headquarters) Muhammad Amlish and DIG (Operations) Punjab Muhammad Tahir Rai were also present on the occasion.
