ISLAMABAD: Police on Wednesday lodged an FIR against unknown people for parking an explosive laden vehicle near the resident of former President Pervez Musarraf, where he has been kept under house arrest.

According to police officials, the FIR was lodged against unidentified outlaws in Shahzad town police station. According to the FIR, 50 to 55 Kg of explosives were planted in the vehicle. However, the Bomb Disposal Squad had defused the explosives.

A joint investigation team (JIT) has been constituted to probe the case.
