DIR LOWER: A moderate earthquake measuring 4.1 on International Richter scale jolted parts of Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir and Swat districts of Malakand Division on Saturday morning.

Meteorological Department said the tremors were felt in Swat, Chitral Dir and adjoining areas. The epicenter of the quake was 43 kilometer north of Mengora at a depth of 10 kilometer, the department said.

Sources said that no loss to life and property was reported.
