KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has asked his party workers that they must not be overcome by a sense of futility or defeat if he is arrested by the British police, Aaj News reported on Saturday.

Addressing the zonal committee of party in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas via telephone, Hussain said he was innocent and he was not afraid of being arrested.

He urged workers to participate in the voting process in by-elections in a peaceful manner.
