Several export firms in Daklak, Vietnam's top coffee growing province, offered to buy beans at 39,000 dong per kg, the lowest since July 10, after Liffe robusta November contract lost 1.3 percent to close at $1,876 a tonne on Monday.
Vietnam is forecast to export between 70,000-80,000 tonnes (1.17 million to 1.33 million bags) of coffee in August, down from an estimated 90,000 tonnes shipped last month, traders have said.
