Nisar orders seven days working week in Interior Ministry due to security situation

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has passed direction that the Ministry of Interior shall observe seven days working week in view of the security situation prevalent in the country.

Although the ministry has been working for seven days a week since he took over as the interior minister but formal orders to the effect have been passed now.

Under the orders, senior officers and their subordinates will be required to work on rotational basis to prevent wearing out and fatigue.

The ministry has approved the duty roster and administration wing has also been directed to provide every possible facility in this regard.
