India to set free 9 Pakistani prisoners: Indian official

AMRITSAR: Indian government has announced to release nine Pakistani prisoners. The prisoners will be handed over to Pak Rangers at Wagah Border, says Indian officials on Wednesday.

After the release of 100 Indian prisoners by Pakistan last month, India as a gesture of good will also release nine Pakistani prisoners, the official said.

The prisoners were arrested by Indian security forces for violating the land and sea borders between the two countries.
