Rehman Malik visits LRH, inquires health of Church blast victims

PESHAWAR: Former Federal Minister and PPP senior leader, Rehman Malik here on Monday visited Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) where he inquired after the health of injured victims of the Church suicide blast.

He remained there for sometimes and appraised himself about conditions of the patients. He prayed for early recovery of the victims and eternal peace of the deceased.

Speaking on the occasion, Rehman Malik said he came here to express his deep sympathies and condolences with the members of bereaved families of the Church blast.

The former Interior Minister said he equally shared the grief and sorrow through which the bereaved families were passing through. He said the victims' families should not consider themselves alone in this hour of lurch.

He said attack on Church was against the essence of Islam and values of humanity. He expressed the hope that perpetrators of this cowardly act would soon be brought to justice.
