SEOUL: South Korean bonds ended higher on Wednesday, buoyed by bargain-hunting following recent weakness, in the absence of other major cues.

Yield on the benchmark 10-year government bonds was quoted at 3.497 percent, compared with Tuesday's close of 3.513 percent.

Lead December futures on three-year treasury bonds ended up 0.04 points.
