ABUJA: Nigeria consumer inflation fell to a fresh 5-year low of 7.8 percent in October, down slightly from 8 percent in September, the statistics bureau said on Wednesday.

Food inflation meanwhile fell to 9.2 percent last month, down marginally from 9.4 percent in the previous month.
