Talking to APP, he said situation in Kohat city comes back to normalcy and under control, saying that curfew has been lifted on Wednesday morning.
However, he said police and security personnel would keep patrolling in sensitive areas. He said shops, business centres, private and public educational institutes were also opened and people are busy in routine activities.
He said that Jirga comprising elders of both Sunni and Shia sects that met with Govt authorities on Tuesday at DC Office assured full cooperation in maintaining law and order situation in Kohat.
He said strict action would be taken against elements involved in clashes. It may be recalled that three persons were killed in the Monday clashes in Kohat City.
