KU administration sharing details of the exercise said it was most peacefully conducted with fool proof security arrangements and that Rangers were also deployed at the site of test.
In context of the test itself, they mentioned that a total number of 3148 students appeared in the Aptitude Test for admissions to Computer Science (BSSE/BSCS) and Business Administration (MBA) besides Applied Physics (B.Sc Hons) respectively.
There were said to be 50 seats for MBA program for which 550 forms were issued however 490 students, both boys and girls appeared in the same.
As for 40 seats in Applied Physics (B.Sc Hons) 780 forms were issued and 620 appeared in the test.
A monitoring team comprising Director for Administration, Dr Khalid Iraqi, Prof Dr Ansar Rizvi, Prof Dr Abdul Rahman Zaki, Dr Shabih ur Rehman and Prof Badar Sami, Head of Computer Sciences kept strict vigil on the candidates who appeared in the test.
On the occasion six of the individuals impersonating for candidates were handed to the Rangers.
The KU administration to avoid any untoward incident had imposed ban on the entry of all un authorized on the test site.
