According to NBC, Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber and his father Jeremy Bieber were “extremely abusive” to a female flight attendant on board during their recent flight from Canada to New Jersey.
The pilots repeatedly warned the ‘Baby’ singer and his father to stop verbally abusing the flight crew, who eventually had to seek refuge in the cockpit.
According to law enforcement sources, the 19-year-old singer, who was flying to attend the Super Bowl and related after parties, had reportedly filled his private plane with so much marijuana that pilots were forced to wear oxygen mask, fearing they would inhale the smoke.
“The captain of the flight stated that he warned the passengers, including Bieber, on several occasions to stop smoking marijuana,” the official report of the incident states.
“The captain also stated he needed to request that the passengers stop their harassing behavior toward the flight attendant and after several warnings asked the flight attendant to stay with him near the cockpit to avoid any further abuse.”
Bieber’s private plane was detained at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey last week on suspicion of marijuana. Although no drugs were found, the ‘confident’ singer confessed to smoking and drinking alcohol during the flight. Bieber, however, stated he did not bring any illegal substances into the country.
