LONDON: Europe's main stock markets ended close to the flatline on Wednesday as investors marked time ahead of the US Federal Reserve's latest monetary policy meeting.
London's FTSE 100 rose 0.17 percent to 6,778.56 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 added 0.10 percent to 9,930.33 points, while the CAC 40 in Paris slipped 0.13 percent to 4,530.37 points.
