LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed with slight gains for the most part on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index of top companies adding 0.34 percent to end the week at 6,757.77 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 was 0.10 percent higher at 9,815.17 points, while the CAC 40 in Paris was essentially flat at 4,436.98 points.
