LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed up on Tuesday, with Frankfurt's DAX 30 up 0.71 percent to 9,902.41 points.

London's FTSE 100 index of top companies ended up 0.87 percent at 6,802.92 while the CAC 40 in Paris rose 0.87 percent to 4,461.12 points compared to Monday's closing levels.
