LONDON: European stock markets closed higher for the second day in a row on Tuesday, with Frankfurt's main DAX index rising 0.39 percent to 9,189.74 points.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index inched up 0.07 percent to 6,682.48 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 added 0.37 percent to 4,232.88 points.
